App Store Infographic

Executive business website, MeetTheBoss.tv, has delved into the Apple App Store eco-system to take a look at the metrics behind the “stratospheric” rise of the apps market. The company’s new infographic shows off key App Store metrics like top apps categories (#1 books), app submission over time (669 per day) and app store price distribution (most common price is 99¢).
Apple’s Applications eco-system is the largest mobile apps ecosystem and started shortly after the introduction of the iPhone back in May of 2008. The App Store has grown to over 260,000 iOS apps in a little more than two years and there have been nearly 30,000 iPad apps submitted in only six months.
With the popularity of apps and media companies wanting to get their content out to mobile consumers, it comes as no surprise that MeetTheBoss has also decided to join the party. The company just released an iOS app for the iPhone which gives users access to exclusive interviews and news from the company’s site.
